ABOUT JELLYFARMING

hello my computer friends!

my – name – is – persis – shanker.

some call me pervert, some call me perky, there’s also been percy, persist and many other exciting names.

but as the years went by like a japanese bullet train, i thought it was too much of a hassle getting called all these irrelevant names.

so i decided i needed one name to rule them all.

one name to consolidate things.

one name to be whispered by all sentient beings in this universe.

and that name, my little blogging friends, was jellyfarm.

jellyfarm was born in 1997, thanks to my need for a cool Hotmail account name.

since then it has grown to be a billion dollar multi-national corporation, earning trillions of dollars for its non-investors and even less for its shareholders.

jellyfarm is copyrighted to me and it is used to generate many hours of tv scripts, shows and other fantastical journeys into the ridiculous.

it is all rights reserved and shall not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without the prior permission of her royal jelliness.

once done so, it must be consumed or else faced the consequences of utter decomposition.

thank you computer friends for taking the time to read this.

cheerZ!

  1. Who is Me?? Love it! Reminds me of John Wayne and Catherine Hepburn’s encounter in True Grit:

Eulah Goodnight: “To whom do you think you are speaking?”

  12. Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for rookie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

    • Well this comment ended up in my spam mail. Perhaps it’s the ISP address you’re using? Recommendations for rookie blog writers? Well, be original. Write on stuff that really moves you or feel you have something unique to say. You must have a style of writing too that reflects how you would sound if you were having a conversation. Third, well, pretend that every blog entry is an article in a magazine that offers your reading something. There has to be a take-away, maybe something they can ponder over or a tip, lifestyle guide etc and lastly, promote your blogs on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. That’s all I can think of right now.

  13. I simply want to mention I am just all new to blogs and really liked this web blog. More than likely I’m planning to bookmark your website . You really have beneficial well written articles. Many thanks for revealing your website.
