ladyshoeIf your inner feminine side has packed its suitcase and run away from home, then fret no more ladies.

Through my daily rummaging of websites I stumbled upon this site that has UK magazine contributer, Russell Grant, churning out ways to finding your inner ‘she-girl’ which I thought was insightful enough for me to place under my microscope and pay attention to.

But seeing how a man is doing all the advising here, I’m thinking Russell is probably wearing a sturdier bra than I am. 😛

Russell Grant says:

– Feminine energy –

Develop an awareness of your feminine side. Our world values the masculine – logical thinking, giving, achieving and fixing – over the feminine expression of deeper feelings, intuition, receiving and being in the creative flow.

– Body Talk –

Are you comfortable in your own skin? If you live primarily in your male energy, you live mostly in your mind, not your body. This can lead to being unaware of your physical well-being or being too self-conscious, losing the balance between body and the inner spirit. Softening and self-acceptance is needed.

-Reflect on your image –

Stand in front of the mirror (in as few clothes as you feel comfortable) and close your eyes. Place you left hand over your heart, your right over your belly, and breathe deeply for a minute. Open your eyes and see what your three best features are, then the next three. Write down what you’d like to communicate about yourself to the world via your image, and put it on the mirror as a reminder.

– Big Up Yourself –

As 93 per cent of the impression others have of you is based on your appearance and behaviour, you have a huge input into others’ understanding of you. Are your best qualities shining through or is your energy directed at hiding the parts you least like? Switch the focus to your best features – see what a difference it makes!

-The Shape of Things –

If your body shape is soft and curvy, you’d suit softer fabrics and flowing designs. If you’re straight or angular, you’re best in tailored clothes with bold, asymmetrical patterns. Celebrate you natural shape by echoing it in your outfits.

– Bright & Beautiful –

Colour is a powerful healer – its vibration can empower you and those you interact with. Being conscious of the effects of colour can boost romance, friendships, career and even sleeping well. So think twice before you reach for the habitual blacks, denim blues and beiges…

About thejellyfarm

In real life, I am a television writer and producer...er no...scratch...a television director....noo, scratch....a media loser.....wait, that doesn't sound quite insulting enough....... OK, ahem. In real life, I'm an idiot box expert with a penchant for the creative. In short, I'm a loser with no focus or direction in life. I just go where the creative flow takes me. Mostly it takes me to clogged up drains and stinky oceans but it's going.......going.....somewhere. And this blog is an expression of that mindblowing roadblock. Creative frustration is a great motivator and here is a result of that.
